Documents to be produced / provided for account opening - Renminbi Deposits
 

Local Residents

1. Identity card

Local Enterprises

1. Business License or Registration Certificate of Foreign Enterprises Permanent Office in China
 
2. Certificate of Approval for Establishment of Foreign-Invested Enterprise in PRC
3. Certificate of Code of Organization
4. Certificate of Tax Registration for the depositor who is a taxpayer engaged in production or business operation
 
5. Memorandum & Articles of Association for solely Foreign-Invested Enterprises, Memorandum and Articles of Association & Cooperation Contract for Joint Ventures
 
6. Certificate of Approval for opening the Primary Deposit Account
7. A power of attorney issued by the Legal Representative for authorizing other person(s) to deal with the account opening procedure
 
8. Documents for different purpose of opening a RMB general deposit account: Loan Agreement for the purpose of obtaining loan from bank; other relevant Certificates for other settlement purposes
 
9. Loan agreement or other relevant certificates for opening a RMB general deposit account in the place other than the company’s registration place
 
10. The demonstration of company’s ownership structure for a company having multi-layered investment structure, indicating all the ultimate beneficial owners (individuals with 10% company shares or above)
 
11. Valid Identity documents of following people (Identity Card for Mainland Residents, Pass to the Mainland for HK/Macao/Taiwan Residents and Passport for Foreign Citizens.) with address proof (e.g. Utility Bills or Bank Statements, etc.):
* Legal Representative
* At least 2 company directors
* All Authorized Signatories
* Ultimate beneficial owners with 10% company shares or above
12. Other relevant documents required by People’s Bank of China
